Sessions and Downloads

Live sweeps and downloaded background recordings can be reviewed in the app. A session groups sweeps; a download is a saved collection of records transferred from the broom.

Find a session

  1. Open Review and choose SmartBroom 4.
  2. Open All Sessions or select a month. Use the session-type filter to narrow the list if needed.
  3. Open a session to compare its sweeps. When several sweepers are included, select a sweeper to filter the view.
  4. Open a sweep to see its charts, individual statistics, sweeper, and notes.

You can edit session details and a sweep's sweeper or notes. These are useful for identifying practice drills and making later comparisons. For the measurements themselves, see Understanding Results.

Find a background download

Connect the broom and open Download History from its connected screen. Entries show the download date, stroke count, and dates covered by the records.

To see downloads across all brooms, open Settings → SmartBroom 4 Data Management → All SmartBroom 4 Downloads.

A download's date can differ from the dates of the sweeps it contains: you may download records after several games or practices. Follow Background Recording to collect and transfer them.

Export or remove data

Use the share button in a sweep's detail view to export its CSV. Download History also has a share button for exporting the records in a download as CSV.

Data Management shows the saved SmartBroom 4 data and provides date-based or complete erasure options. Deleting a download also removes its derived data. Export anything you want to keep before deleting it. Records already downloaded and acknowledged may no longer be on the broom for another transfer.
