Getting Started¶

Read Laser Safety before switching on your SmartBeams, then follow these steps to time your first rock.

1. Get ready¶

Read System Overview, get the SmartBeam app, and charge your beams.

2. Set up your beams¶

Follow Setting up Beams to choose your measurement locations and place and align the sensors and reflectors on the ice.

3. Connect your beams¶

Connect your SmartBeams, then assign their locations in the app to match your setup on the ice.

4. Time your first rock¶

Follow Arming and Timing to start a timing sequence.

5. Read your results¶
